How does this work?

Whenever you’re ready, just fill out the contact form. I’ll get back to you too as soon as possible so we can iron out the details of your session!

Connect
Before we meet for the session, we’ll have a quick call to break the ice and decide on the details. I want you to feel comfortable with me and this will help us both!
03.
The day of
On the day of the shoot, we’ll meet up and get to the location of the session. We’ll talk for a bit while I set up my camera and make sure everything’s perfect. Then we can jump straight into it and get some amazing photos!
04.
Gallery delivery
After we're done, I'll get to work editing the photos. The finished photos will be ready and delivered in 1 to 2 business weeks.
This is my first photoshoot and I’m kind of nervous.
As your photographer, my job is to put you into a position where you look great, feel good, and have comfortable confidence. It may be satisfying to know that you have the choice of what photos you want the world to see and the ones you don't. So, let's have some fun and put you in the best possible light.
What should I wear?
It's always been my motto to never apologize for looking good. Your character should be reflected in what you wear. For beach shots, blue, tan, white, and even pastels work well. Coordination with others in your group really comes out in photos. On a hot day, these colors absorb less heat from the sun than darks like navy blue or black. Seasonal dress is good if you are intentional about upcoming holidays. If your photos are headshots for work, then your apparel should reflect your brand and the professional image you wish to portray.
How many pictures will I receive?
A one-hour photo session will involve generally about 400 photos being taken which will render about 30 deliverable photos after they've been through post-processing. Mini-session of 20 to 30 minutes will produce about 15 deliverable photos. The larger the group being photographed, the less of a chance everyone will be paying attention, looking, smiling, and not blinking.
Are you available outside of South Carolina?
Photo shoots outside of the Grandstrand are available on an hourly and a travel per-deim basis. Please inquire for more information.
Do you do couples photography?
Photo sessions are available for couples' portraits and engagement photos.
Do you provide workshops or photo tours?
Photography workshops and tours for groups of up to six are in the planning stages. Options will include Beach Landscape, Wildlife, Historical Architecture, as well as Waterfalls. Check back for scheduled tours. Individual daily sessions are available upon request.
